ISO 15224: 2017 Health care services
The standard includes all ISO 9001 criteria, with additional interpretations and specifications for health care, as well as issues related to clinical risk management during the planning, operation and control of medical processes.
The ISO 15224: 2017 standard is necessary in organizing the activity in hospitals, outpatient clinics, clinics, offices and medical laboratories, in verifying compliance with performance indicators for hospitals, the indicators being established by the Ministry of Health, with specific standards for hospital accreditation, but also with the requirements of Order 946 / 2005 on internal financial control.
The course aims to make an introduction to the audit technique and to settle the concepts and terms related to the management of health services.
The course is intended for people interested in the management of services and staff in the health field actually involved in the provision and support of services in the health system (state and private).
The course aims to:
- To provide participants with the skills and knowledge necessary for the implementation and audit of service management processes, in accordance with the requirements of the international standard ISO / IEC 20000-1: 2018 and the requirements of Order 946/2005 on internal financial control.
- Explain the principles and practices of managing a service management system, present the service support processes and make a foray into the audit activity of these processes.
- To present introductory notions of Health Services Management. The service management processes (performance indicators for hospitals, established by the Ministry of Health) will be explained, according to international standards and good practices.
Throughout the course, the performance of each student is evaluated according to tasks, discussions, presentations, personal contributions, tasks performed, optimal time management and punctuality.
The course can be organized Open or In-house, provided that a group of at least 7 people is formed, coming from at least three different Organizations.
